Indie-pop darling Samantha Russo blends lyrical songwriting prowess and catchy beats in a series of genre-bending releases this year. With creative curiosity,Never one to limit herself, Miss Russo showcases her versatility on new and upcoming releases "Ashes", "Dangerous", and "The World Can Wait".  

The Texas native grew up on a variety of influences from Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline to Y2K pop/rock and hip-hop.  From singing in the car with her mother to performing on stages since age five, Samantha has always been an artist at heart. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Samantha began learning guitar and writing songs inspired by country music. Over the years, she explored her craft by infusing more modern pop/rock elements into her songwriting while still pulling from early influences. 

In 2024, one of Miss Russo's songs was a top 24 finalist at the NSAI's Tin Pan South festival, which is the largest songwriting festival in the U.S. This experience led to an increased interest in writing, recording, and releasing new music. Samantha teamed up with Austin-based producers Ken Tondre and Lang Freeman to bring the latest singles to life and has more exciting new music on the way.
