The singer-songwriter always knew she was meant for music, even if the road was anything other than straight. After years of trying to do all the right things, this genre-bending artist finally embraced her sound and who she is. Coloring outside the lines is more fun anyway.
The Texas native stopped trying to conform and instead started falling in love with the craft of songwriting. She began trying new ways of playing, writing better hooks, and exploring her voice. That shift from perfection to exploration has opened up new music, with numerous new tracks on the way.
Samantha was a recently a top 24 finalist in the 2024 Nashville Songwriter's Association's Tin Pan South Songwriting Seminar, which is part of the largest songwriting festival in the U.S. She previously was a finalist in the Austin Songwriting Group Contest and has played at numerous events and venues.
